If engine runs-on (diesels) after ignition is turned off, repair as follows: Disconnect battery Under dash, remove hose from left air vent Remove alternator indicator light Disconnect blue wire from indicator light, connector 61 Cut new wire (16 gauge) 5 - 6 inches long Attach male and female push-on connectors Connect new wire to diode (Part #059 905 371) Connect female connector of diode to alternator indicator light and new wire to blue wire Install indicator light Tape diode and wire to wiring harness Install fresh air hose Connect battery Road test vehicle. Engine should not diesel when turning ignition off
